Our client, a leading telecoms service provider based in Roodepoort is on the hunt for dynamic, results-driven ICT Sales Account Managers with a persuasive edge and a passion for unlocking new business opportunities. This is an office-based role designed for self-starters who are energized by targets, excited by technology, and confident navigating the ever-evolving telecommunications landscape. You’ll need to drive KPI achievement by effectively managing your own timelines, balancing autonomy with ambition in a performance-focused environment.

As an ICT Sales Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the client base—sourcing and securing new business while also growing and retaining existing accounts with a laser focus on a 90% contract retention rate. From cross-selling and upselling ICT solutions to providing tailored, timely support, your goal is clear: drive growth while delivering top-tier service that keeps clients coming back.

Key responsibilities include: 


1) Sales & Target Achievement
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Proactively engage in cold calling to acquire new clients.
  • Maximize client value through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and focus on business development.
2) Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Analyze customer accounts to uncover new opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent service and engagement across your client base.
3) Query Resolution
  • Respond to client queries promptly, providing feedback within 24 hours.
  • Ensure client issues are resolved effectively and professionally.
4) Reporting & Insights
  • Deliver weekly pipeline updates and daily sales reports.
  • Submit accurate monthly base reports and maintain up-to-date opportunity records.
  • Share market insights, forecasts, and competitor intelligence.
5) Process & Compliance
  • Follow all internal policies and procedures.
  • Capture all client interactions accurately in relevant systems.

We require:
  • Matric/Grade 12 is essential.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in ICT Sales or Account Management with a proven track record.
  • Solid understanding of the telecommunications ICT industry and its product offerings.
  • Experience handling corporate clients, large accounts, and tenders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
